Evaluation of paramedical personnel in the health sector

A.D. ALEXIADIS
Institution of Health and Care, Technological Educational Institutions, Thessaloniki, Greece

Assessment of the paramedical personnel in the health sector is an important activity of the administration. Through this process those staff members who are judged in a fair impartial way to be capable of executing superior duties, provided that the other legal presuppositions are fulfilled, are able to be promoted through the various different scales of the administrative hierarchy of the service. The evaluation system provides the staff who are assessed with the legal right to defend themselves against possible partial and arbitrary evaluation by their superiors, and with the alternative of self-evaluation. In addition the cases of exception are defined by law of the council member who examines the formal objections of those evaluated.

Key words: Composition, Doctor, Paramedical, Problem, Service, Value.
