Dental management

The present dental market is characterized by the adverse effects of the economic crisis, and intense competition. Dentists could address the impact of the economic crisis, inflation and competition by adopting principles of management and marketing with proven benefit in business, recognizing and exploiting current opportunities. This paper applies management techniques and marketing tools to dental services and identifies the expected benefits. The key characteristics of the dental services in Greece are analyzed and suggestions are made for the adoption of management and marketing practices.
